Dr. Brooks Hybertson, MBA, PhD
President & CEO
Dr. Hybertson is motivated by a desire to help people help themselves in their pursuit of wellness and healthy aging. As President/CEO of Pathways Bioscience, he feels extremely fortunate to be working with his outstanding teammates studying the science of Nrf2-dependent gene expression and cell protection, and concomitantly developing new products to increase healthspan and improve people’s lives. In recent years he and his teammates Dr. Gao and Dr. McCord have worked to become thought-leaders in the field of Nrf2 and its activation by dietary and lifestyle approaches. They have several peer- reviewed research publications in this area and are always excited to be working on new research and writing new papers. Brooks earned his BA (Chemistry) from St. Olaf College in 1985 and PhD (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1992. He received postdoctoral training at the Webb-Waring Institute for Biomedical Research in Denver prior to joining the University of Colorado School of Medicine faculty. He earned his MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2004. He is an author on more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and is an inventor on a dozen issued patents.
